Hello  there.....

I'm Clare and Mind, Body, Soul Adventures brings a number of my passions together in the hope of better connecting people with our living planet.  I am a qualified Mindfulness Teacher, STA Open Water Swim Coach and Forest Therapy Practitioner. I’ve worked over the years with some of the world’s leading environmental, health and social change organisations, bringing communities together to connect, relate and grow.

A wee bit of background.........

I’ve had a keen sense of wanderlust from a very young age. As a tot, I’d frequently escape to explore my surroundings, often to be found making friends with the local wildlife (sometimes with my trousers on back to front, wearing my dad’s hat).

Throughout life, I've been fortunate to be able to find joy and beauty in the small moments around me, through adventures near and far. From my toddler self escaping to chat to worms, to solo trekking through the awe-inspiring Torres del Paine in Patagonia in my early 20s, leading a group of young people on a 3 month expedition in Costa Rica, to my meanderings across Scotland and daily adventures with my wee dog in and around Glasgow - nature has always been my life companion.

She listens, she heals, she inspires and energises me. Non-judging but observing, non controlling but adapting. When I spend time in nature, I feel the same. Through these trips, I aim to share these immeasurable benefits with anyone who’d enjoy a little support, guidance and company to spend more time outdoors. We are much better able to work in harmony with each other and the planet when given the space to reflect, feel and focus. I hope you'll join me to connect with nature and community soon.

"What a joyful experience! I returned from the weekend feeling totally spoiled, relaxed and rejuvenated. Whether we were practicing mindfulness, forest bathing, hiking, or cold water swims, Clare was the perfect guide. She has such a kind, warm and adventurous spirit, ideal for leading people on adventures like this."

“Had the most amazing time with a lovely group of strangers who quickly became friends. Clare had thought of everything. We wrote notes on the way home of all the things we achieved as we didn't want to forget any of it. It really was a memorable weekend, one I won't forget. I urge everyone to give it a go.”
